Everything about our three plan tiers and what each covers
We offer three protection tiers designed for different homeowner needs: Basic Care ($39.98/mo) includes one annual tune-up, 15% discount on parts and labour, standard scheduling, business-hours phone support, and a limited extended warranty. Standard Protection ($69.98/mo) adds a second tune-up, 25% repair discounts, priority scheduling, 24/7 phone support, up to $500/year in parts and labour coverage, no service call fees, and an air filter replacement during scheduled visits. Premium Shield ($109.98/mo) delivers the most comprehensive coverage: four quarterly inspections, 50% repair discounts, same-day priority service, 24/7 emergency response, up to $1,500/year in coverage, no service call fees, filter and refrigerant top-up included, transferability to a new homeowner, and an annual HVAC efficiency report.
The right plan depends on your equipment age, home size, and comfort priorities. If your HVAC system is under 5 years old and you only need basic preventive care, Basic Care may be sufficient. For most Ontario homeowners with older equipment or those who want peace of mind without surprise repair bills, Standard Protection is our most popular choice. If you have multiple HVAC systems, a larger home, or simply want maximum coverage with same-day emergency response, Premium Shield offers the best long-term value. You can always upgrade or downgrade your plan later with 30 days' notice.
Yes, you can change your plan tier at any time with 30 days' written notice. Upgrades take effect immediately upon your next billing cycle, giving you access to higher-tier benefits right away. Downgrades also take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. When you upgrade mid-year, your annual coverage cap resets to the new tier's limit. When you downgrade, any benefits already used in the current plan year will be prorated against the new tier's limits.
Unused tune-up visits do not roll over to the next plan year. Each plan year, your visit allowance resets according to your tier: Basic Care receives 1 tune-up, Standard Protection receives 2, and Premium Shield receives 4. We recommend scheduling your visits at regular intervals throughout the year to maximize the preventive benefits and catch issues early before they become expensive repairs.
